Define and Assign Grades

A component of an employee's assignment that defines their level and can be used to
control the value of their salary and other compensation elements.

First we define grades in our organization. Grades can be assigned to jobs or positions. But Oracle prefers to assign grades to jobs.

Grade name may have more than one segments according to your Organization Polices

Here we will define all the grades which are available in our organization.

Assign Grades

The next step is to assign grades to the jobs in our organization

Navigation:Work Structures→Jobs→Description→ Valid Grades

Select the job first then click on the valid grade button to assign the grade

It might be possible that a single job have more than one grade



















































In this way assign specified grades to specified jobs
